Welcome back!
I am so thrilled to see our hallways and classrooms once again filled with your energy and curiosity as we kick off another amazing school year.
This year is a new expedition, a journey filled with incredible learning and adventure. At Nettie S. Freed, we don't just sit and read about the world—we go out and explore it! Our expeditions will take us from the branches of our local trees to the heights of Mount Olympus with the heroes of Greek mythology. We will become scientists observing the birds in our community and historians learning with empathy from the powerful 'Voices of the Holocaust.'
Remember that here, we are more than just classmates; we are a crew. We support each other, we challenge each other to be our best, and we face every adventure as a team. Just like our mighty Yeti mascot, we are strong, curious, and ready to explore new territory.
So get ready to ask tough questions, create beautiful work, and leave your own positive footprints. It’s going to be a fantastic year of discovery!
